The Horizon-202 features:

— a trigger-operated shutter with under- and over-cocking locks, with a relatively small cocking angle (210°) for this frame format, improves camera performance and operability;

— a metal focal-plane shutter with shutter speeds of 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/60, 1/125, and 1/250 sec. 1) expands the camera's range of applications (indoor and outdoor shooting in low light); low temperatures (down to -15°C) have virtually no effect on shutter performance;

— a rotating lens ensures the required image quality across the entire frame by eliminating the inevitable optical distortion that occurs with similar shots using wide-angle lenses;

— a frame counter that automatically returns to its original position when reloading film, freeing the amateur photographer from the need to remember to set the frame counter to "0";

— an optical viewfinder allows for precise determination of the subject's boundaries. Correct camera alignment—strictly along the horizon—is controlled using a level visible in the viewfinder's field of view;

— a tape-type rewind handle and a retractable rewind button reduce preparation time;

— the rear cover lock and the rewind handle are integrated, simplifying and speeding up the reloading process.
